Beautiful scenery, quietness, an interesting theme, a good idea: these are the things that an artist needs in order to create ...

I am happy and pleased to say that I have found all this at Saksala, in the heart of Finland.

My works comprise mainly of mechanisms, machines, joints and articulations, which reflect the things that surround us: energy, movement, connections, transformation, and evolution.

The work at Saksala ArtRadius was no exception.
Homo erectus was a major step in the development of mankind. He was the first to make and use tools and fire. The tools were the first invention of man and together with the ability to make and control fire, ensured his survival.
This was my inspiration for the creation of "Lighter" (machine to make fire).
For me it was a pleasure to meet artists from various countries, to be able to discuss and exchange artistic opinions with them, in a special artistic environment.
